On May 1, 1979 a dream became reality for John & Jocelyn Langendoen and their 6 week old son Chris. The young family came to Fenwick, Ontario in order to start a nursery and got their first feel for the business by renting 30 acres of land on Balfour Street. This small start held large ambitions. Eventually, 17 of these acres were purchased.

In 1991, John and Jocelyn (along with their now 3 sons) felt the need to expand when 50 acres became available on Farr Rd., which is now the main farm - an entirely separate location.

10 years later, September 2001, brought more changes as an office/shipping facility was built. By February 2002, boxes were packed and the office staff moved to the new location at 935 Victoria Ave.

Today (2008), Willowbrook owns and rents 158 acres. We have much to thank God for in the past 29 years! The employees and sales team that work at Willowbrook who have made the difference - the customers and suppliers who have shown their loyalty over the years - and the dreams of John and Jocelyn to have the business that is established today!
