All pick-up and delivery orders are prepared on a cash basis. 30 days credit is granted only to those with established credit. Credit applications are available upon request and must be filled out at least one month prior to delivery or pick up. A 2% per month (24% per annum) interest charge is applied to overdue accounts. Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) is charged on all orders (except Quebec where GST will be charged). There will be a 20.00 service charge for any cheques returned by the bank for any reason.
We accept Visa & Mastercard, credit cards may be used if the payment is received within seven days of delivery or pickup.
It is advised that you place your order with us in advance so that it may be assembled, counted, and checked for quality assurance before being loaded. We pride ourselves on timely and accurate service for our customers; please allow us the opportunity to do so. Our shipping yard is closed daily from 12:00pm to 12:45pm. A minimum order is not required for pick-ups orders however, for quantities less than five, add 10% to the purchase price except where an “each” price is indicated.
Delivery Orders & Packing:
All prices are F.O.B. our nursery. Skids used in shipping will be charged at cost. Instead of angle stocking nursery stock in trailers from floor to ceiling, we use rolling cart system to prevent damage. Skids used in shipping will be charged to the purchaser at cost. For long distances loads we use our wooden shelved racks specifically designed for one-way trips. Plants are loaded on shelves are
shrink-wrapped to maintain quality in transit. This also provides a quick and efficient way to unload
product. Skids can be reused in your garden centre or returned to our nursery and the cost will be credited to your account. Metal carts are to be returned to our nursery upon the completion of delivery. Lost carts will be charged to your account. Freight rates vary depending on the distance and the size of the order (space occupied on the trailer). Please check with your Sales Rep for each delivery to confirm the charges. You will be billed extra should the driver be at your dock longer than the time allotted. Freight companies customarily allow 1 to 1 ½ hours free unloading time on part-load trailers, but charge 50.00 per hour for additional time thereafter. When delivery is scheduled please have adequate staff ready to unload your order.
All stock should be watered immediately upon receipt as plants can dry out or overheat during shipping
We guarantee stock to be in good condition upon leaving our yard true to name. Any claims must be made in writing within 5 days of receipt. We hold ourselves to readiness (on proper proof) to replace said nursery stock or refund the original amount paid. We shall in no instance be liable for any sum greater the amount paid and quantity received at the time of shipping. Claims for damage occurring by transport must be filled through the carrier.
Order & Order Acknowledgements:
Spring order are processed on a first completed, first reserved basis. We retain the right to pro-rate those items we feel are of short supply or of special interest. It is our intent to benefit as many of our customers as possible. Please review your acknowledgements carefully to approve any changes that may have been made. Mail or fax a signed copy with any revisions indicated or call your sales representative to discuss any necessary changes. Crops are subject to growing conditions, inventory changes, crop failures and seasonal sales activity. We acknowledge all orders upon receipt and do our best to notify you of any changes to your order.
Plants are shipped with a computer printed slip-lock label and/or a picture tag. Pre-pricing labels offered at a nominal price.
